Shipping Policy

At Quality Plus Furniture, we are committed to providing a smooth and reliable delivery experience for all our customers. Our shipping policy is designed to be transparent, ensuring that you know what to expect when ordering from us. We handle the majority of our logistics in-house but may also outsource delivery to trusted partners who offer Direct Home Delivery (DHD) for certain products.

1. Shipping Methods

  • In-House Delivery: Most orders are delivered using our own fleet of vehicles and trained delivery professionals to ensure careful handling and timely delivery.
  • Third-Party Delivery: For select items, especially oversized or specialised products, we may use Direct Home Delivery (DHD) or another reliable logistics partner. If your order is being shipped by a third-party provider, you will be notified in advance.

2. Delivery Areas

  • We currently offer delivery within England & Scotland.
  • For areas outside our standard delivery zone (North West England), additional delivery fees may apply, or we may outsource delivery to DHD or other carriers.

3. Delivery Timeframes

  • Standard Delivery: We strive to deliver all in-stock items within 1–10 business days from the date of purchase. However, delivery times may vary based on your location, product availability, and the specific delivery method (in-house or outsourced).
  • Custom Orders: For custom or made-to-order furniture, delivery times will vary depending on the manufacturing process. An estimated delivery window will be provided at the time of purchase.
  • If a third-party service such as DHD is used, their estimated delivery times will be communicated to you. We will provide tracking information where available.

4. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on your location, the size of the order, and whether we use in-house or outsourced logistics.
  • Any additional fees, such as for remote areas or for oversized items, will be clearly communicated before purchase.

5. White Glove Delivery Service

  • For large or complex furniture items, we offer a White Glove Delivery service. This includes:
    • Full assembly and setup in the room of your choice.
    • Removal of all packaging materials.
  • White Glove service may be included for free with certain purchases or available at an additional charge, depending on the size of your order.

6. Delivery Scheduling

  • Once your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date and time. Our delivery team or the DHD provider will coordinate with you to ensure smooth scheduling.
  • If you need to reschedule your delivery, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid rescheduling fees.

7. Receiving Your Delivery

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time. Upon arrival, our delivery team will unload and, if applicable, assemble the furniture.
  • We encourage you to inspect your items upon delivery. If there are any visible damages or issues, report them to the delivery team immediately and contact our customer service within 48 hours.

8. Missed Deliveries

  • If you are not available at the scheduled delivery time and have not rescheduled within the required notice period, you may be charged a missed delivery fee. This fee covers the cost of the additional delivery attempt.

9. Damages During Shipping

  • Our team takes every precaution to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition. However, in the rare case that damage occurs during transit, please notify us immediately.
  • If Direct Home Delivery (DHD) or another third-party carrier handled your delivery, we will work with them to resolve any issues and ensure that damaged items are replaced or repaired.

10. International Shipping

  • Currently, we only offer shipping within England & Scotland. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

11. Order Tracking

  • For in-house deliveries, we will provide you with updates on the status of your order.
  • If your order is shipped via DHD or another third-party provider, tracking information will be shared with you where available.
